The team at Modern Steel & Fence LLC reached out to us on Facebook about wanting a new website built. As you can see from the before and after slider, their old website hasn’t been updated in years and didn’t have enough factors to build trust with homeowners.
We arranged a free strategy call and we went through what they were looking for and how we could help. The team wanted a modern day website that would help get them new business as they are looking to grow their fence business.
During the initial strategy call, I also noticed there wasn’t an effective sales system in place from their website. Cody, the owner, mentioned how they missed a few form submissions from their website.
So, our task was to build a website that would fill the homeowners with complete confidence they have found the perfect fencing business for them and then to create a streamlined sales process where they can efficiently track each lead and create an effective sales process.
So we got to know more about the fence company and what made them stand out. We then used our fence website blueprint to position Modern Steel and Fence LLC as the fencing experts in their local areas.
We did this by showing social proof such as reviews and a gallery of their work. We also showcased who the owner is and the team along with a section dedicated to the owner talking about why they started a fence company.
We also create dedicated service pages and fence style pages. This is important because this gives us the chance to showcase the knowledge of the team of these different services and fence styles. We can educate the homeowner of the benefits and when they would use a specific service or a specific fence style.
We also created specific city area pages, this helps reach more homeowners in the areas the fence company operate in rather than just listing them on the website.
Before going live, we then optimized the website for SEO targeting homeowners looking for a fence company and fence services in their local areas.
In the Project Overview section, we mentioned how they didn’t really have a sales process from their website. So I also worked with the team to understand how they would usually sign a client.
So we integrated relevant systems together to create a streamlined and semi-automated sales process. To give a quick overview of it, a homeowner submits a form entry on their website, then a few minutes later, an automated email will be sent to the lead asking a few pre-qualifying questions. Once the lead responds, we use AI to summarize the lead’s email response. The fence company will then call the lead to arrange a site visit and then they will close the lead.
The team are notified at each stage of the sales process and now have an effective CRM where they can manage leads, analyze what went well and where they could improve.
All this combined creates a website that is so much more than just a website, but is now a key strategic business tool.
